As part of the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) 150th anniversary
exhibit curated by Archival & Special Collections, the Library will
be holding a pet photo contest open to all U of G faculty, staff,
students, and members of the Guelph community starting on October 29.
Do you have an adorable pet photo you’re willing to share? Here’s how you can enter:
1. Post your photo on the Library’s first floor- Write
your full name, pet’s name, and email address on the back of the photo,
and post it to the easel boards located at the central area on the 1st
floor of the McLaughlin Library (tape and pens will be provided).
2. Email- Email your photo with your full name and pet’s name to libaspc@uoguelph.ca with the Subject: Pet Photo Contest.
3. Twitter- Tweet your submissions to @UoG_ATS with the hashtag #UoGpets. Include your full name, pet’s name, and email address via Direct Message to @UoG_ATS.
Contest Closes December 3, 2012.
Multiple submissions will be accepted. All photos will be displayed in
the main floor of the Library, Participants will be entered into a
raffle draw and winners will be announced at the official opening of the
OVC exhibit on Thursday, November 8, 2012, at 4 p.m. in the Library’s
Academic Town Square. Drawing for two other prizes will be held on
December 3, 2012.
