contest 2011 : Civitan Essay Contest due 3/11/11

CIVITAN'S PURPOSE in sponsoring the contest is to encourage students to study the time-honored and time-tested privileges and responsibilities of citizenship and, from their knowledge, to express in writing, ideas which relate to good citizenship in the modern world.
Any high school student within the Plymouth Canton School District is eligible to compete. Essay must follow directions on application and MUST be written by the student.
The final manuscript must be submitted in triplicate to Miss Mandeville, Salem High English Dept., Room 2106.
Instructions for the essay are attached or may be found in the scholarship drawer.
Deadline for submission is Friday, March 11, 2011 at 1:16 (before 6th hour). Any essay submitted after 1:16 on that date will be rejected.
